2. The difference between shape and form is that shape is more of a two dimensional figure with a number of sides, for example a square or a triangle. A form is more of a three dimensional figure that not only has a surface, but also has depth, width, etc.
3. The difference between pattern and repetition is that a pattern is a repeating group of shapes, lines, etc. Repetition on the other hand, can not only include patterns, but it can be generally anything that repeats itself.
4. Movement is when the photo draws the viewer's eyes toward a specific spot in the photograph. I can also be a photograph depicting someone or something in motion. For example in the bottom two pictures, I was able to photograph the subject in motion. In the last photo of a building at Stanford University, the lines and diagonals on the edge and side of the building draw the viewer's eyes into the distance, also giving it a feeling of depth.
5. Of the last three projects, my best work would be the my pictures of the flowers. Click here to go to the final project pictures. This is my best project because I felt that I put a lot of effort into this set of photos. These photos also demonstrated two of my three rules of composition: color and viewpoint. The rule of composition for color was shown in these photos because every photo had a unique central or focus color, for example, the first photo was mainly purple, the second photo was focused on the white, the third was green, the fourth picture was pink and the last picture had a lot of yellow. These photos also demonstrated viewpoint because of the angle from which I took these photos from. This project changed me as a photographer because after completing this project I learned more about the angles to take good photographs as well as where to get good lighting and what to photograph. I learned to see things differently upon completing this project because I was able to find a new way to take pictures. These photos were also a huge challenge to take because I took them outside on a very windy day, so I also learned how to take clear pictures without it being blurry because of the movement from the wind.
